It is common that we don’t get any acknowledgment email / can’t link the application in portal.

Received PR card of my family member without acknowledgment and linking the application.
Thank you for the reply friend, can you let me know how many days or months took place since you submitted to receive the PR card ? I applied 13 December 2025 so for sure they will not count holidays so I guess my application around 15 days now without holiday time. I’m planing to travel out of Canada first week of Feb 2026 so I don’t k who when I will get my New PR card can’t get any update at all I try to call in IRCC call center but they always say they are busy with high volume of call

All you can do is wait. Processing times are not guaranteed and won’t account for holiday time. You should have applied with more of a buffer if you had travel plans in early February. If you haven’t received your PR card you can apply for a PRTD closer to your travel date.

Yep no choice then waiting.. but when login IRCC Portal it’s shows only submitted and can’t link anything. Do you think IRCC received my application? ?

Applied on Dec. 10th , the previous PR card status checked in IRCC is still old one - approved.
Not received the card but here are my observations.

1. Applications were returned to few people due to photo standard issues who submitted application early Dec-2025.

2. In the previous PR application, seeing the Document Status as INVALID and Status updated date as a date in Jan-2026. Which means they made the current PR card as invalid as the renewal is approved and new PR card is issued. ( Myself and mt friend applied on Dec 4th and both of us are seeing this change). So we hope to get the cards in next 10 days.

PRTD should be applied outside Canada. From my recent experiences, PRTD's are NOT taking any less time, they are taking 30 days if you apply in India. So plan accordingly. We did multiple PRTD's in India (New Delhi - IRCC) for my family members and all of us received passports around 30 days.

Hello, submitted application dec 13...haven't received any AOR or any email from IRCC...is that normal and happening with everyone?
Yes, Most of us haven't received AOR. But if you see Submitted status when you login to your account, it's good enough. This means IRCC has your application but if you call Call Center, they won't see it in the system until the application is opened for completeness check. I heard from my friends that they are also not receiving AOR for citizenship applications. After taking to multiple call center agents recently, I also understood that there is a lag with the actual system and the system they use to see the information. Lag is anywhere between 2days to 1 week.
