Guys i just checked my status it shows 20 and completed. My first submission was sep 11 which my files was returned oct 30 for photo. Resubmitted it oct 31 urgent updated at NOV 2. Can that be real? I thought i had to wait in the Q again

It says urgency granted: true!

Hello all,I applied for PR card renewal my brother and his wife on Oct 6,2026 online but now he needs to go back first week of Nov 2026 due to my old mother in home country and current PR card is valid till April 2026.Any issue in renewal card process ? Any one ircc we needs have to inform or not to visit back home country during process of PR renewal going on .pls reply asap thanx all of you

Why did you apply for your brother and spouse and why didn’t they apply on their own? Were they in Canada when they applied? They need to inform IRCC via webform that they have left Canada unless they put their current residential address which appears to be outside Canada and will likely have to pick up their new PR card in person. They can apply for a PRTD to return to Canada.

On json, it will say if the urgent is granted or not. When you fill out the application it asks you during the questionnaire if its urgent or not and you need to provide proof

Did you change the urgency request date when you resubmit your application? Weird that I don't see a urgency granted field in JSON, I only see "isUrgent": true

So I applied for PR card renewal on August 5th, got returned for the photo being to dark or light. I re-applied on September 17th, and I got it returned again today for the photo quality being too poor. It passed whatever filter the photo uploading thing had. The only thing I can think of is that the date stamp thing they use was a bit smudged, so it can be a little hard to make out the date. Has this happened to anyone before?

I'll try again with a digital photo, but I am getting annoyed with this. Do I need to pay the fee again or restart the application again since tomorrow will be 3 months since I initially paid the fee?

Also, can I apply for urgent processing? I have a trip in February planned.

Yes. The first application I didn’t choose urgent but when I resubmitted i did. Mine is urgent true, underneath it urgent granted: true.

Same thing happened to me. The back stamp was terrible they returned it and said post dated 2028. I recommend you use digital its much easier the date is actually printed not stamped.

I noticed it long after I sent it. Just kind of sucks I gotta wait a month and a half again, after submitting it twice.
