Our family applied for the permanent resident in 2011, at that time, I was a minor. However, I am 22 now and we just received our PR card. I am wondering, do I need to renew my PR card five years later with my parents or I am eligible to renew my own without having my parents satisfy the renewal obligation, especially for the time spending in Canada. Thanks a lot!

1. As long as you meet the RO requirements, then you can renew your PR card, your an adult, not tied to your parents.

Thanks a lot, I thought I would be regarded as a dependent based on the time of applicant. This helps me out!
