Hello Everyone,

I am looking for guidance on PR card renewal, as i am confused based on information in forum and official website. Here are my details,

I have received my PR card for myself & my spouse on June 2020 and both of them left Canada on September 2021 due to family situation to take of parents back in home country.
Our PR is going to expire on September 2025. I recently got a job (Full time Self-employed for Canadian Registered Business / Contract) and myself alone return to Canada on November 2024. My spouse is still in home country.

While i was checking for PR renewal criteria, it is mentioned we need to be physical present 730 days (2 years) out of 5 Years. Based on my presence calculator, i will be eligible for 730 days before expire of PR (September 2025).

However, for my spouse i would need some guidance to get renew PR card as my spouse is outside of Canada now.

1. As I am working for Canadian Business (Contract / Self-employee), will my spouse physical presence is calculate with my status [or] My spouse have to come back to Canada before PR expire date, stay for eligible days to apply for renew the PR card.

2. Please suggest the documents or government forms to submit for PR renewal process

Request you share valuable insights.

Thank you, Appreciated your time.
