PR Card renewal April 2026

Hi. I applied for my PR card renewal on the 18th of April and haven't received any updates up till now. My application status shows submitted, can't link application on the ircc secure account.

Just wondering if anyone else applied in April for a renewal and had any updates.

same in april 25 no response in portal. spoke to ircc they said they are doing right now 13 march 2026 application.

I received an update in my application today. My application was returned because of photo specification issues. I spoke with an agent early morning and he informed me to get a new photo and upload it again.

Upon asking the process of linking the application, he responded that I won't be able to link until they send me an AOR. In short, application was submitted on 18th April, and they did some work on May 13th.

Took a new photo and uploaded it and resubmitted the application again. Hoping for it ti be processed soon.

There was a problem with my photo. My application was updated on 13th May and I uploaded a new photo same day. Nothing after that.

Last week friday called ircc for update they said its approved and ready to dispatch . so hopefully will rcve this coming week. but i guess they use canada post for courier lolz finger cross hopefully they will not strike again

There was a problem with my photo. My application was updated on 13th May and I uploaded a new photo same day. Nothing after that.

Did you get a card now?

No. Apparently my application just got updated and they found some stupid issue with the back side of photo, which is basically the receipt. They say the date and address isn't mentioned on the receipt which is a clear bullshit as it is clearly printed.

Congratulations. I wanted to ask you about your photo that you used for the application. Was it a digital photo or a printed photo?

Timeline:
Applied online on May 8- No trip outside cabada for 3 years
Website showed at that time 28 days as total processing time
Approved on on June 3
Webiste still shows submitted and same as first date
Application could be linked to GC key on June 3
Card Issued and mailed on June 4
Received in mail on June 10
