PR Card renewal applied: Aug 28th

No confirmation email, PR Portal just says submitted and everything all greyed out with no application number, unable to link to IRCC account. Timeline was at 33 days at time of applying.

No card yet.

UPDATE: Finally got a reply from the IRCC webform, my card was mailed Sept. 23. Most likely won't receive it until the Canada Post strike resolves.

Update:
I was able to link my Sep 4, 2025 PR-card renewal to GCKey and now see an application number and the latest update says "Final decision – Sep 25, 2025: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

On the PR Portal (via inspect mode), the Sep 4 file changed to “Completed” around the same date (Sep 25), while my Sep 8 (corrected) submission still shows “Ready for review.”

Given that I now have an application number for the Sep 4 (incorrect) file, should I send a webform quoting that app number to request withdrawal of Sep 4 and to process only the Sep 8 corrected application? Or is it better to wait for an officer to open the Sep 8 file first?

(For context: I already sent two webforms earlier—one general explanation and one withdraw request—but those were before any file was “in process.”)

Appreciate any feedback?
You can try to call IRCC to see if you can get the duplicates sorted out.

My personal guess - somewhat informed, but a guess - is that it would be better to submit a webform to correct the error in the application that was accepted, rather than try to withdraw it. (My reasoning is that I think they would correctly refuse/reject/return your second, duplicate application, leaving you worse off if you've tried to but not completed withdrawing the first app).

Up to you.

PR Card renewal applied: 26th Sep

Same as others,
No confirmation email, PR Portal status "submitted", unable to link to IRCC account.

Tracking status daily & would post updates if any.

Thank you for your response. My initial application was approved on September 25th, and I was informed via the webform reply that the card has already been sent for production. The second application was returned because I used the same payment receipt, and they acknowledged that my initial application was already approved. I just have to wait for the card to arrive and check if my first name and family name are printed correctly and not reversed. If not, I will have to correct it and apply for the card again. Fingers crossed!
