PR Card Progress for Soft Landed Folks in 2020/2021

Were you able to reach IRCC ? if so please can you provide the contact number you used. I have been trying to reach them for a few days now and I couldn't get through. Also, were you able to update your address to get your PR card?

I was not able to contact IRCC. Number I tried calling was +1-613-944-4000. Also not able to update my address, as I could not find my PR application using my credentials.

Hi,

I received my first PR card at a friend's address yesterday. IRCC seem to have gotten my gender wrong on the PR card (COPR is correct). I did my soft-landing in Mar 2021 and I am not currently in Canada. Apparently, I need to get the card reissued within 60 days but I also cannot do this while I am outside Canada. Somewhat of a catch 22 situation.

Will I have any issues with having the wrong gender on my first PR card, like while applying for a driver's license or a credit? Any suggestions on what I should do?
