Pr card process if leave country?

I received my COPR. I am waiting for my PR card and it may take another 40 days for it. I am hoping to travel for 3 months. What happens to my pr card application if i leave Canada? Will it continue? Because someone can bring my card in November. Do i still need to apply Temporary visa?

No temporary visa can be apply. Either valid PR card or PRTD travel document. Yes, you can leave Canada while waiting for the card.
