pr card not delivered but says delivered

I sent my pr card for replacement and got following info but i did not receive the pr card. I wonder why?

We received your application for a permanent resident card on xxxxx

We started processing your application on xxxx

Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on xxxxx. You will be notified by mail within four weeks and invited to pick up your card at the CIC office closest to you.

You have received your permanent resident card on May 17, 2012

Seems like a normal procedure for PR card renewals. You should receive still receive it by mail or they will contact you to pick it up from the office closest to you.

Chances are they mailed it using Canadapost and you should receive it about 3-4 days later. That's been my recent experience with Canadapost.

Not with my pr card but with my passport from Fort Erie and items I've ordered online. It showed "delivered" but I got it a few days later. Just relax and keep checking.

received my pr card today by mail.
thank god i saved time going to CIC office . thx to their pilot project

Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on March 6, 2013. You will be notified by mail within four weeks and invited to pick up your card at the CIC office closest to you.

I am confused, is it general narration in all approved cases or do i have to go to pick up? or I will get it by mail. As I am going back to home country next week for few weeks. Any one can guide ?

when my status showed "in process" after to weeks of it my status showed "decision made" and after another week status showed "complete" and finally after another week I received mine and my family's cards by Canada Post.
