Hi everyone. I sent my parents' application for PR renewal on March 3 (unfortunately no postal tracking.) I linked their applications online but it's only for the PR card that was expired (so it says that the decision has been made and PR is approved but that's really only for the PR card that is expired.) I am really worried because we have not received anything from them and it's now been 2 months since I mailed it to CIC. does anyone have a similar experience? Thanks :)
look above, seems you will need to wait at least 2 weeks to receive AOR

hmm...ok. It's now been 65 days since I actually posted it. I guess I'm really worried that since I didn't post with tracking, they might have not gotten it at all. I hope 2 more weeks of waiting gives some good news. Thanks for your help :)

well, yours is not 65 days yet. you sent it on March 3rd which means it probably arrived on March 10th. Today is May 3rd, so it is only 55 days.

We got AOR already for two applications.

One application is for my kid, and the decision was made right after AOR. (May 4, 2021)
The other application is for myself, and it shows still processing. (already 66 days)

We sent the applications together. Is it normal to process differently even sent together?
Also, how long does it take to receive the card after AOR?

Thank you,

Has anyone gotten an AOR without sending it with Postal tracking?
I sent the passport photos as a regular letter on Apr 23rd and was able to link the application on Monday, May 3rd.
I also just received an update in the portal that my PR card has been sent, that was quick. The expiry date shown in the portal is April 29, 2026, so I assume it only took 6 days from the day I mailed the photos.

The portal now says: "We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive. "

Hi,

My mother’s application was received by IRCC on February 11th. We received AOR on April 13th. The status has been “decision made” since April 14th. No progress since then. What makes me worried is that it has already exceeded the processing time mentioned in the website which is 66 days now. I tried to call them and talk to an agent several times today, but the voice machine said that they can’t transfer my call to an agent due to the high volume of calls.
Here is the timeline:

Permanent Resident Card
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on February 11, 2021.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 13, 2021.
  3. We started processing your application on April 13, 2021.
What do you suggest? Should I send a webform? Please kindly advice. I appreciate your advice in advance.
Any luck?
