Pr card renewal instruction guide show a biometric fee of 85$ also. Do we need to pay that ?.
Or we only pay 50$ ?

My wife's application in process since Sep-15.

We sent my my wife + kid application together with one fee receipt of $100, wife got application number & kids application was returned. We received the application with letter on Oct-24 (the letter was dated Sep-16).!!
Not sure if they would wait for my kids new application to be sent back & then process together.!!
Hi, what was the reason to send back your kid's application? I have read here that though they send back one application, the rest of them will be processed. When you re-send your kids application, it will be a separate application which will be processed on its own.
Also, did you had to make two copies of the fee receipt or just included one $100 receipt?

Most people don't need:

Most PR card applicants do not need to give biometrics.

However, you’ll need to give your biometrics and pay the biometrics fee if

  • you were less than 14 years old when we received your application for permanent residence and you applied for permanent residence on or after July 31, 2018, AND
  • you’re now older than 14 years old and are applying for a new permanent resident card, a replacement or a renewal

The reason was we missed to enter details for Q20.
We have sent a separate application for my kid & the fee receipt would be the same receipt of $100. I called CIC before sending the new application. Also got new photos.
It is my speculation that my wife's application is stuck because they might be expecting my kids application to be sent back. Not sure though. I don't see any other reason that my wife's application is in Decision Made status for past 6+ weeks.

My PR card mailed yesterday as well. Below are my details

  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on July 9, 2020.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 13, 2020.
  3. We started processing your application on October 13, 2020.
  4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on October 26, 2020.

Okay. Thankyou so much.

Still waiting for status change for 6 weeks now.
Status still shows decision made.
Sent web form, response was that my card has been sent for production.
This has been for more than a week now.
Is there anyone else in the same boat as mine.

I am in the same boat. Did you try calling them?
I called them on Oct-22 & they said wait another couple of weeks.

Is it ok if there is gap in dates in employment history ?
The month is same like
2017-06-02
2017-06-30
For this gap of 28 days should i write unemployed or no need for that ?

No I only sent a web form, did they tell you what was happening eg Card production

They just say to wait, don't give any details unless you are lucky with a nice agent who would give lot satisfactory answers.
