I landed in Canada on 5th october this year and stayed for 5wks before returning to Nigeria. My intention was to finally travel back and settle permanently by April next year.

Just received a shocker that the my wife and daughter's PR card processing has been stopped due to the fact that photographs did not meet specification. nobody told us this at Accra visa office when the visa were issued, and even at the port of entry. Now they request for them to re-submit 2 passports with amongst other condition that :passport must (i) be on photographic paper that has a backing which accepts and retains the date (ii) bear the date the photo was taken directly on the back of one print.

How can i print a passport with date at the back. Nobody seem to know what to do here in Nigeria, even their High Commision could not help.

Anybody with this experience? what did you do?

is there anyway i can go back to Canada with Travel doc to get this sorted out?

Thanks

You have the photographer stamp the date on the back of the photos, make sure they meet the requirements of Appendix B http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37055.pdf
