PR Card expiry date

Hello,
I have received my CoPR and it expires in 6 months. When I land and eventually get my PR card. Would the validity (5 yrs) on the card start from the date I land? or from when the Copr was issued?. Appreciate the information. Thank you.

1. Date you "land"
