I used the word want deliberately, I have a flight to Orlando (from Toronto) to a convention in 2 weeks... my PR card expired and I applied for a new one as urgent but it's still not even showing on the system that they've started processing. It will be approved but likely not in time for this trip. Any idea on how I can get back into Canada with an expired PR card? Will I have to fly to Buffalo and try to drive over the border? There's no VISA centre in Florida, can I apply for a PRTD urgently online down there? I'm only going for 6 days and the CIC websites just don't answer this question anywhere.
