Hi guys, I have just received my CPR with my Visa from the High Commission in India and have been instructed to enter before December 2016. I have the following questions.
1) Can I enter Canada, apply for the PR card and come back to my home country (India) in 2-3 weeks?
2) If yes, what happens to my PR Card if I am not in Canada to collect it, when it is ready?
3) Will the PR Card be sent by post to my home country?
4) If not, can I give the address of a relative or friend in Canada and can they send it across by post to me?
5) If I cannot get the PR card by post to my home country, can I re-enter Canada with a travel document or visa for the second time?
6) Will I have to apply for my PR card again on the second entry?
7) How long does the PR card take to come?
8) When does the 730 days start? From the time I first land in Canada or when I actually begin residing in Canada?
