I have applied my PR application under family class as my wife is Canadian, I have been waiting for my results for 3 years now but not having much hope. I have put a file in the federal court to give decision on my file. Meanwhile, I am planning to apply for my PR under new streams because I have been working for over 2 years in essential service and I am eligible.
I have two question if someone can help,
first is, for the eligibility I have to get CLB 4 in IELTS test, I am not being able to find a date in near future for ' General IELTS test', I have reserved a date for Academic test this week but haven't paid for it. Could you please advise if this academic test would be accepted by IRCC for my eligibility since its not General test.
Second, Since I have applied for my PR under Family Class Sponsorship, can I do second application under new rules of essential class and keep both applications going? I dont want to withdraw Family Class as I have spent so much on fees and time and waiting to hear back from the federal court for further directions, neither i can afford to lose this once in a lifetime opportunity to apply on my own, Please advise
