I just received my bc pnp nomination. Do I have to renew my work permit first before sending my PR application to CIC or can I just attached a cover letter and proof that I already submitted my work permit extension?

Is your work permit expiring soon, else you can send the PR application without renewing your work permit. Once you apply for renewal CIC would be able to see that your WP application is in progress.

Yes its expiring on April 14. Ill just try to go to the border next week. Thanks
