Express Entry

You scared the living hell out of me! I thought you applied in 2018 as per your profile, so I thought 4 years later they told you they rejected your application all because of PCC which would have been extremely cruel!

Hello Sajib and Everyone,
I have a similar issue, I was asked to resend form IMM0008, Schedule A, and police clearance on the 2nd of March and I got this message after one year of waiting for AOR, I send these requests almost immediately, the first two documents on the 9th and the third documents on the 16th of March through Ircc webform. My initial application was paper-based. I was shocked when I received the letter that my application has been discontinued. Can anyone suggest what to do next? I have proof that I sent all these documents. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. I already live in Canada. What are my chances with my proof?
Thanks

What are the reasons for discontinuing? Did you review those forms to make sure they were complete? Did you take screenshots/a video of you submitting them within the time they gave you? Provide as much detail as possible so we can help you.

@moscatojuices: The letter claims that two documents were missing, the Imm0008 and the Schedule A forms, which I sent on the 9th and never said anything about the Police clearance form which I sent a week later, so I assume they received the police check form, I sent the 3 forms via webform. I have screenshots of when it was sent, sadly not a video.

The forms were completed because it took me 3-5days to complete then, letter just stated it was missing, I think their decision is harsh

You're not proving us with sufficient detail here, tell us exactly what the letter said.
I just explained but here is the content again:
the following item(s) are missing: A completed Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM0008) with an original penned
signature.A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669)

And I completed it, reviewed and send through IRCC webform and that is all the info in the letter I got.

I am just looking for some tips, I won't hide some info when I actually need help. I did send them both documents.

Did you sign them? Did you date them? Did you validate the forms? Was any field missing? Was any detail missing - including, say, a postcode from an address? They can refuse your application for literally the tiniest most trivial thing.

I did all that, that is why im pissed.

Sounds to me like an absolutely careless mistake by the IRCC. If I were you, I would:
*Call them straight away
*Send a webform straight away appealing the decision, and reiterate and resend the forms they asked for - mention you did exactly as they asked and would like your application to be returned to processing. Send as much detail as you can
*Speak to your MP about this

I have an amazing immigration consultant friend and she told me that the IRCC sometimes rejects even the most perfect/complete application packages due to their carelessness and the sad reality is in that situation, you need to consider basically taking legal action against the IRCC while at the same time prepare/submit a new application just in case it does not get resolved

Sorry about your situation. I would be furious too if I waited a year just for them to open my application package, ask me ADRs, provide those ADRs in the due timeframe they gave and then reject it, they sound very very careless right now.

hi! can I just ask, can you still access your online gckey account and ecas? if so, does it say your application is in process or cancelled/rejected? hope to hear from you soon as I also got a similar letter and I also sent ADRs in weeks before the due date. thanks!
