PR application for Protected persons

I have a question regarding the PR application for protected persons. The refugee claimant has received their decision and they are in the process of working on their PR application. I am helping them with their application. I was wondering about the dependents who are over 18 overseas, do they need to submit original signatures for their forms. Such as forms: IMM 5669 & Schedule 14. Or can we use a scanned copies of their signatures on the forms.
please advise!
