PR application for mexico police certifcates question

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone could confirm when I need to get my police certifcates for my pr application. Is it before I send in my initial application or after I have been approved in principal and I get instructed to from CIC ? If I understand correctly it is after my wife is AIP then I send my requests. I only ask because my wife's friend has us second guessing ourselves. Thanks in advance.

Anyway, the police certificates for Mexico cannot be sent in advance, you need an embassy request for this, which will come late in the process.
