PR Application Cancelled - Error on CIC's Part

Hi,

My PR application was cancelled earlier and the following reason was given:

Your application is rejected for being incomplete. Specifically, your application does not include the following elements:

- Police Certificate: The Police certificate from Sweden was not provided. This document is required based on address/background history from 2011/07/25 to 2012/12/05. It appears you resided six months or more in that country.

NOTE: You did not provide a letter of explanation and proof of submission for this Police Certificate.

So, first of all, the dates above are all wrong. I had backed up my forms and everything else and I double checked the dates I entered so I am sure I didn't do any mistakes while submitting the form.

Secondly, for this country, I did submit a police certificate. They simply didn't bothered to check it?

Finally, I actually think that the above is a reference to my spouse's travel to Sweden. I say this because they made me twice submit my spouse's travel history and background information forms. Also because my spouse first travelled to Sweden on 2011/07/25, but the total period in Sweden was less than 6 months. Not by much, but definitely not up to 2012/12/05.

What are my options here? To me, this is either a technical or a human error on part of CIC, perhaps a terrible combination of both with some incompetence.

This is my second PR application and due to how terrible the CIC system is, it takes days to complete the application as I have to painstakingly re-enter all the data.

Advise please!
 
Raise a CSE and appeal the decision so your application gets reopened if you're confident of their mistake.

OK, now I am confident they are referring to my spouse data. They had asked me to twice submit the travel history and schedule A background forms. In one of the forms, I made an error. However, this is in just in the address section. The entry above that should have made it clear that its a data entry error, as well as the corresponding travel history. Ironically, the correct dates were entered in the web form too.

Its very annoying that they ask you to enter the same data in 3 places (web form, travel history and background form), then cancel the application with a clear error.

I have raised a CSE explaining the error. I hope they re-open the application. Resubmitting the application form will be a nightmare given the large number of travel entries we have.

Depending on what your points are, it may be easier to resubmit your profile and wait for a new ITA.

I have 450 but ill have to redo many of the docs including police certs from different countries. I don't see how id it easier? If they just re-open the application given a single digit typo, ot will save

How old are your PCCs? I say it's easier because it can take awhile for them to re-open. Meanwhile your case is sitting there in closed status, when you could have already submitted a new application to be actively worked on.
 
You could get an ITA in the next draw and these days PPRs are being issued very fast. I would suggest you enter the pool again. I believe they make us enter same data in multiple forms to cross check information. I wish you all the best.

reason of rejection: PCC

It was ircc mistake as they did not note second PCC of my spouse.

There might be a technical glitch , whether the uploaded documents reaching the servers ?

I have raised a CSE and attached the PCC documents once again , will my application be reconsidered ?

Amy-- I have gotten a cancellation saying that you did not submit proof of submission for Police verification when I already did.
Did you have to go through anything else after reopening or if you needed to submit the full application?
did you get the PR finally?
They did not treat the cancellation against you?
