PR application and Open work permit

hi,

I am from India. I want to know that My Mr.is in Canada(NOVASCOTIA)and he is on work permit..so can I apply for open work permit?

and on the second hand we have received AOR in PR..(in 7th may'2016)..so how much time to take for getting PR..? and if we get a PR so can we change the employer..can we change the job..in the same province or other province?

please any one help me..
 
Yes if he is on a work permit. with Job class A, O , B then you can apply for an open work permit.

But as you got AOR, so its better to take PR and land.

Thanks for reply..do you know how much time it will take..in a mail conformation its written that it will take a six months for process..and if I get it so my mr is there so how he will get it?can you help me in this..if we have PR so can we change the job ? And can we move other province..or we have to stay for some year.?we have applied in PNP program..we got a nomination..
 
For the whole PR process it will take 12 months. Yes u can change the job within the province, even u can change the province which nominated you after getting PR (but recommended to stay in the province at least for a couple of years.)
