PR and Passport different last name

I have one question regarding my mother's return back to Canada. She has been in India for 3 years now and hold a Canadian PR. On PR card her name is printed as "Pooja Sharma" , Sharma being my father's (her huband's) last name. Her name on her passport (indian) is "'Pooja Rohit" which is her maiden name. I am wondering if this will be an issue at the airport. The name discrepancy happened during PR renewal application and she has been in india for last 3 years and now planning to return back to Canada.

Please guide. I heard some people say to keep a translated copy of marriage certificate and it will be fine. Let me know.

Get her Indian passport renewed under Tatkal with the correct name.
