PR and LMIA questions

I am currently working in a Lmia job in Canada. I have five years full time experience in my skilled job in the uk. I am planning on quitting my job whilst waiting for pr and not working until pr is given. However, if I quit my job do I lose EE PR eligibility or do the rules only apply at the time of application? New to all this so any advice appreciated

If you're getting points for an LMIA-supported job, then you need to maintain the job until you've been granted PR.
