Hi All. My husband received the passport request letter but we are unsure of where to send it. Our application started off at Sydney, Nova Scotia and was later transferred to Mexico City for processing.
On the letter is the address of the Canadian Embassy in Mexico. It's at the bottom of each page. There is nothing indicating that it should be sent to that address.
Does anyone know where it should go? PA is from Grenada.

Hi, I had a similar experience when I got my PR through Express Entry. Wasn't sure if to send it to Mexico where the letter originated or Trinidad which was the closest VAC to me (I live in Barbados) but ultimately sent it to Trinidad and didn't have any issue so guessing you can do similarly. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your reply. I was thinking of Trinidad too. But how did you go about sending it there instead?

There were some instructions on the letter from the Mexican consulate about what to send but I would have also checked out the VAC website for Port of Spain to get their fees and the forms I needed to send along with my package to them. I used FedEx to send my items with the return slip paid for and included in the package so that my passport could be returned to me when the process was completed

I didn't call or anything to say I was changing the location from Mexico to Trinidad, I just sent them there and hoped for the best. It really was confusing for me and I had called both the Mexican office and Trinidad to get guidance on where to send but I didn't really get much assistance and time was ticking away so I just sent it to Trinidad and everything worked out.

What does the ppr say? It should tell you where to send it

Mine didn't tell me where to send it unfortunately. Sounds like the person who originally posted might have the same issue I did where it didn't specify but hopefully this isn't the case and their letter stated it

Yes. I'm in the same boat. On the letter there's a link that states click here to find out where to submit your passport. When I select Grenada, I dont see any specific VAC...It just says select the one closest to you....so I figure Port of Spain is the way to go.
I'll follow what you did and hope for the best. Did you pay through the bank deposit or online payment?

It does say.....just that I should follow a link to find out where. There's no particular VO for my country. It just says select the closest one.

I got a foreign currency draft from a FCIB branch addressed to the VAC and included it with my package.

Ok. I see. I dont think it's done that way again. That's fine as long as I do it right. Thanks for all your help.
