normally I see people getting their passports back in 10 - 20 working days. My case is becoming an exception, hope you get it soon.

while submitting at VFS . the person there also told me that it will hardly take 10 days for the passports to come back but looks like they don't want to give it to me that soon .

I got a PPR on 9th December and I submitted my PP on 11th December.
I know, its just been a week. Not being impatient.
