hey we both have same timeline, please keep posted. I called CIC Tuesday morning and I was told that my passport is in queue for print since June 28. But still there is no any progress.

Does anyone have a recent number of cic call center?. I used 613944000 but it is saying I cannot call the number from US. Tried calling through hangouts but same result. My passport has not yet been dispatched after my application was approved on June 18. Did anyone tr yuh calling cic in the last couple days and have a number that connects me to an agent ?

In the US, adding *67 followed by the number you are calling makes your caller ID private for that particular call.

Congrats!! Mine received on June 28 looks like another week or two then. Did you send any email or contact them to get your passport noticed??

How do you find out that your application has been approved? Do you get an email saying your application is updated? Right now I am checking the tracker every day for activation, but I guess I shouldn't bother with that until the approval email, if there will be one.

No emails will be sent. You need to check your CIC account or call the hotline to know when the application has been approved. When they print your visa and send to the facility to return your passport, they update the status of your application to "Approved". If you don't have access to GCkey, then call them directly around 2/3 weeks after the passport has been delivered.
