They will ask the recent photographs for u n family and passports. They will mention that send everything together. So if your spouse is in another country then have PP couriered to you first and then you can send everything together. They will give you 30 or 60 day timeframe. They are asking biodata (height and eye color details for applicants).
So you don't have to worry much even if your spouse is in another country.
