I saw some posts indicating that this is possible but I want to verify.
Got the PPR today and I'm from a visa exempt country but currently staying in Canada as a Tourist.
The letter says that:
"If you are currently residing in Canada and you need to send your passport to receive an immigrant counterfoil, you can send it to the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa"
Normally I'd have to send in a copy of my passport and the two photos to Vienna but that would take so much longer and cost more, so I'd rather send it to Ottawa.
Can I just do this? I think I read about some people doing it even though they didn't need an entry visa. But do you include your passport just in case or what?
Also the instructions say that you have to include a return envelope with a specific size, I guess that's mostly for the passport. Do I have to add that one as well?
