I am currently panicking about something and not sure what to do.
I recently submitted my CEC application, with a CRS score of 585, the cutoff was 507.
I am claiming 7.5 years worth of foreign work experience which I already did in my initial WP application, the most recent one, that is 4 years, I claimed NOC22220 for it, I am now reading, it does have some NOC22221 duties in it, but the majority falls under 22220 because I work on servers, firewalls and higher level stuff, not only user support.
Here are the duties listed:
Providing first & second level technical support for servers, workstations, networking and Microsoft 365.
Configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting servers (Hyper-V, VMware), desktops, laptops, printers and related IT equipment.
Diagnosing and resolving LAN,WAN,VPN and Wi-Fi connectivity on various platforms like SonicWALL, FortiGate firewalls and UniFi devices.
Monitoring systems and devices on PRTG platform.
Perform daily backup verification on platforms like Veeam and Datto.
I also have two other foreign experiences, one for 1 year and one 2 years and 5 months, both skilled, TEER 2.
I would not usually worry, as the package is good and I am still above cutoff even without the foreign experience, but I have seen officers decline applications for the stupidest reasons, which made me worry.
My question is as follows, if the officer thinks that it falls into another NOC, but same teer, which is 22221, would it still be okay? Do I get the points? Will it be considered as misrepresenation? What will happen? Also to note, that does not determine my eligibility since it's CEC and my canadian letter is much stronger, and even without foreign experience I remain over cutoff.
