Potential Loss of Permanent Status

Me and my family (my wife and two sons of age 5 & 3 yrs) landed in Canada on 5th April 2005. We remained here for about two months and went back to our home country, on 10th June 2005 due to some family reasons. I however returned to Canada alone in September 2007, with the intention of settling here permanently and filing sponsorship application of my new born daughter, while leaving my family back in my home country as we cannot leave our minor daughter (1-1/2 yrs of age) on her own. Now the situation is this, that her PR application is in process at the visa office (Islamabad), and there is a strong likelihood that we might not get visa of our daughter before 10th June 2008, which could result in the loss of permanent status of my family. I have contacted visa office through email, explaining them the whole situation, but they responded by saying that the application is in queue, which cannot be processed on priority. What should I do now? Please suggest.
