Potential immigrants stopped by job offer probe - bad news

Only what many of us on immigration forums have known for years.

How do you tell someone, that claims to have an AEO and has paid for it, that they have probably been duped???

It appears that Canada is finally waking up to this scam, hopefully they will put a big stop to this.

For every one person that gets into Canada in a fraudulent way, either intentional or unintentional, it mess's up the applications for a 100 genuine cases. :o
 
Great article, thanks! Looks like there's way brewing between the CSIC and lawyers... The CSIC has taken a lot of heat, including from its own members, for having a leadership that's very opportunistic and mercenary. Hopefully this will stimulate some reform in the organization.
 
To me, if you listen to the double speak, it sounds like CSIC may be losing their role?
 
They very well may be. I hope they do. They overcharge their members and reportedly use a lot of their income more for entertainment for the board members than for useful programs. There was a report about it on the CIC website.
