Hi All,

Need clarification on BG Status.

I received Request for Visa email from CIC on Nov 02nd but Status in CIC Account is unchanged.

Review of additional documents : The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.
Background check :We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision :Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Is this normal? I was expecting status update in BG and atleast Review of Additional documents to say Additional documents are verified.

Can anyone throw some light on this.

This is normal. Your status will be changed when your passport is received and stamped! Congrats!
 
I was also wondering about this. I'm at the same stage and thought at least something would have been updated in the app. Good tho know its normal.

Strange.. I was just checking through my eAPR online and noticed that the only thing that has ever been updated in my app is that my medial has been passed. Even review of eligibility says "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements." How can I be at the PPR stage and it still says that? I'm confused!
 
i have sent pssport tovisa office in singapore on 30th april after recieving ppr, still no update in cic
