What is the process to submit passport ?

Just go to the VFS office with passports and 2 photographs of applicant along with dependent's photograph and pay the fee according to distance with vfs regional office. They give you the receipt and tracking Number

Generally within a week.
Sometimes same day.

I heard/seen we have to send Passports through Courier or Speed Post to NDVO.
What is VFS? They are very dangerous. I saw 2 Bangalore VFS guys whose Passports did not return even in 2 months.
