I thought it will be good to have people posting who completed 12 month processing time while waiting for MR. Reasons and final result...
It can help people in future who will go through the same waiting period. There is a common thinking that if you completed 12 month waiting period most likely application is rejected.

My Case
Application Recieved : 31st October
AOR:20 Dec
Reason for Delay: Review status due to calculation of exp from PGWP, mailed them updated exp letter covering exp from convocation..which was 10 days letter than date of application recieved..
Final result: waiting for results

There is no processing time.

The 12 months is a historical figure showing how long it took them to process 80% of cases.

While they will try to work as quickly as they can, when it comes to to immigration it will take as long as it takes.

Dude, sit tight and wait... And please stop creating multiple threads regarding one and the same application.
There is no such thing as 12 months processing time, that's the only the average for previously processed applications.
Right now it might be more than 12 months.

I found people posting here that if ur waiting for 12 month or so ur application will be rejected..but between last few weeks i saw people getting MR who were waiting. So i just want to create this thread for helping others no intentions of spamming the forum or it will help my application. if u think like that then I apologies fr it

What are you talking about? Whoever told you that is completely clueless. Most applications take longer than 12 months to process.

Especially now, after the strike and office closures....backlog and transfer of additional files. Its probably gonna be more than 12 for quite a bit of people. Of course we all wish that it werent true, but reality is harsh.

Also, I think most people are confused about the "review required" status, rather than the 12 month timeline. Just becuase someone got put in queue for additional review doesnt mean anything more than another officer taking a look. Its the notes people should be paying attention to. Unless its implying a negative outcome, there shouldnt be assumption about the worst possible case. Keep ordering GCMS and follow the progress of your app. If anything needs explaining, forward a cover letter to CPP-O. We have seen evidence of them considering these in the last little while.

Guys,

Calm down before jumping in to judge. Carefully read what gladaki wrote. He talks about 12 month processing time while waiting for medical request. Not the whole application process.

Try not to panic because longer than 12 months is fine. I submitted my application in August (although recieved date says October) and I just got the medical request. The strike made the processing times for everyone longer (I am guessing).

You are somewhat correct. My TA/RA was from till the end of May 2013. More interesting, my RA/TA experience had onlyT4A slips. My engineering position started afterwards (mid summer). I have ordered my GCMS notes so I will let you know when I get them. The last time I ordered them in August 2013, my status was "review required". Guess it depends on the officer.
