Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) current actual processing time

Nope my friend got approved for pgwp and the paper for approval has been generated and approved and status has been closed it shows that the pgwp will expire 2019 April 8 th applied April 10 2016

I applied by paper on January 21 (day CIC received my application) and I still haven't gotten my PGWP. It says in the website it can take up to 97 days.


Do you know if I can take a certificate course while I have a PGWP? Thanks.

Final Decision: Approved on April 12 2016.
Validity: April 8 2019

One e-mail --> your application has been updated(april 8th)
One e-mail --> you have one new message (april 13) and online approval pdf received
Waiting for the hard copy..

I have one last question; should i wait for the hard copy to apply for TRV, or can i apply with the online approval pdf that shows validity period of my wp?

The message usually comes in 1-2 days, it doesn't harm to call CIC though...

I applied by paper on January 26th and was received by CIC on Jan 29th. No news yet. Any update on your file?

hey i got the admit for lambton college and heard that pgwp is not given to private colleges so i want to confirm weather it is public or private i search in google but i couldn't get the info please let me know the info.

Can students completing a two year diploma program like LPN from private post secondary institutes like Sprott Shaw College Abbotsford be eligible to receive 3 years post graduate work permit from CIC?
