My experience- Single files processing is fast and mostly within processing days, With dependent it can take one or two months extra.
In any case it is good to Wait for extra 15-20 days before contacting local MP, they can definitely help.

Did you guys happen to receive another letter from IRCC to extend the expiry date while waiting on the approval of the work permit?

Hello everyone

The processing time from where I have applied is decreasing. However, I haven't seen any progress in my application. I would appreciate it if someone could help me figure out what to do?

You have to know even if the time decreases it's not 100% quick to affect your file. Follow the processing time when you applied.

Some pages of the CIC website are not the ones I expected to see when I click the "View submitted application or upload documents". Is it just me who experience this technical issue or am I not the only one?

What difference do you see?

Hi guys! I applied for a open work permit on Sept 4th inland and I didn’t hear anything from IRCC yet. I’m in Nova Scotia. What should I do? There are opportunities to work here and I can’t even start it. I came With my wife who is an international student.

You can work as soon as you submit your PGWP app, follow the guidelines on the website.

I suppose it’s because they study permit expired and I had to wait a month before I applied for my PGWP (including the reinstating fees) and I had to resend my transcripts. Other than that I have no idea why.

Cases like that do take time, would suggest to get GCMS notes to know what's happening.

i got approved on Dec. 7th
applied second trial at Aug. 28th (first go: June 5th)
received the ghost update in lunch time with both decision making and approved mail. I got the confirmation document and now free to go! Hopefully, everyone get the approval soon.

Congratulations !!!
