Usually takes 4/5 days for me whenever i appply to CIC. There’s no way to get it faster. Try to stall your employer and explain it’s approved (maybe send a screenshot) and that it’s just canada post delaying

CIC usually mentions on approval letters it could take 6wks to arrive but Ive never heard of longer than a week

Did you check the messages in your account? Sometimes you will have your permit issued but you might not get any notification, many of them reported here.
