Got a ghost update that they started reviewing my eligibility today.
Applied on January 11

Is the date posted when they start to review eligibility or is it just the statement that changes ?

They don’t mention the date, but I’ve been checking the status everyday and it was updated today

As per the previous posts here it’s usually the same day or the next day. But as it’s Sunday tomorrow i think we will get it by Monday.

For those who got their PGWP, did you apply for TRV in the new or old portal (GC key)? What is the current processing time for TRV?

So I applied for my PGWP after my student permit expired 5 days ago and applied to restore my status as a student. However I have seen some say you cannot work while waiting for it to be approved and that is an issue as I hear it takes 4 months or more. I cannot do anything for 4 months and all and need work. Is there anything I can do to get assistance or try and work temporarily?
