Complicated application?
Well I had a situation so I attached a LOE but I don't think it would complicate things much. But the eligibility review hasn't even started yet so they haven't even looked at my application yet. Just waiting to be noticed

Imo its processing normally then , ur application has been under for 129 days , its pretty much normal these .. ppl had their pgwp approved after 130-135 days . LOE wouldn’t effect processing tbh … they dont have much time to look into every application in-depth

Hello guys,
Silent follower here, been following for some days. I got my PGWP approved and was looking to apply for TRV. I only have the in Canada approval letter and have not received the hard copy/actual work permit in the mail yet. Can I apply with only the approval letter? Or do I need to wait for the hard copy before I can apply?
Thanks

Yes, you can do so with the in Canada approval letter. No need to wait for the actual permit.

Applied on Sep 13 and still waiting :(
Anyone from early September still waiting?
As per IRCC website, they're now finalizing applications received in the last week of August 2021, so you should receive an update in a week or two's time. Just be patient.

Finally guys!

PGWP application, inland, ON

Applied: September 13, 2021
Approved: January 26, 2022
Eligibility review: unknown
Valid for 3 years (2-year program)
No emails so far

Just wanted to say thank you to all the participants of this forum who've been sharing their experiences and timelines. You guys have helped me a lot to stay sane throughout this stressful process.

For those of you whose applications are imperfect like mine was, I'd say stay hopeful and always, ALWAYS, attach a LOE!!
I took a leave from studies and kind of dropped out for 1 semester while being outside of Canada before continuing with my last semester. In a LOE I explained why I made that decision. Was very anxious that a visa officer reviewing my file would not consider my reason for taking a leave as something important and would issue a rejection right away. But everything worked out well and I wish a happy ending to each and every one of you guys!
