Somebody told me that new graduates with 2 year of diploma are only getting 2 years of work permit rather than 3 years which they deserve..Is this true? anybody who have applied recently got a work permit for only 2 years?

Any opinions and specially personal experiences are welcome.

Post Graduate Work Permit is granted more on the basis of total number of credit hours finished.

No, Not really...I think all they see is your transcript.

My elder sibling finished Canadian MBA in 14 months (though the course duration was 18 months!). And granted "3 year PGWP". That MBA program consisted of "57 Credit Hours" (equal to 2 years of studies)

Now you are free to trust me or not.

I have been living here for one year, and no one actually told me anything about credit hours and alot of colleges dont even have it on transcript..I think I will just hear for what others say.

I am talking about University Courses. :) but still I feel it depends on number of Credit Hours one take, not length of time. May be I need to check it for college level. :)
