Ambition
I was a never retail guy and took passionate interest in technology (especially phones processors latest gadgetries)
and writing about it. Writing was always of my area of interest and I have freelanced for certain small time local publications,
online blogs and websites (not much though). However realisation dawned that I couldnt continue with my present profile at this age of 27 and now wish to embark on Journalism full time.

Canada aspiration

Ah ! Canada, the beautiful scenaries and lovely landscapes thrilled from times immemorial.
From my teens I aspired and longed to visit those spell bounding shores .
Keeping intune with my interest I researched multiple programmes available across Canadian colleges and Universities.
University masters was the centre point, however multiple spot admission by various Canadian universities dashed my hopes. My low grad % combined with no relevant background was a major detterent.
The next course of action was to check some colleges which may enhance my prospects
(Yes i know the damned colleges !)
Humber, sheridian and bucket loads other community colleges put me of the instant I read about em. Humber the name itself sounded shady lol.
Until I came across Centinnials - Centre of Creative Communication (CCC)
www-centennialcollege.ca/Programs/ProgramOverview.aspx?Program=6412
From course outline , benefits of the programme to Creative communication campus looked apt with my aspirition.
Unfortunately centennial just like any other community college does not carry weight among genuine higher education seekers. Albeit I havent come across any negative review of CCC and the course seems to be one of its kind (Degrassi High - a 70s show was shot on this campus! ). Another bone of contention is the course awarding degree/diploma . Although programme requirements explicitly states that its fast track programme requiring University grads however the awarding degree is Ontario Advance diploma.
Now I am royally confused would this diploma be in tandem with my current bachelors and hence create problems getting a visa, also would I be able to persue MA / M of journalism in future ?

Facepalm for the such a big post, but you see am still an aspiring journo :D
