Hi guys,
I have been nominated under Alberta's PNP. My post-graduate work permit is however due to expire in 4 months and I have only recently submitted my PR application to Buffalo. After reading through online posts, I see that there could be hiccups in order to extend my work permit. I have mailed in my application package together with a photocopy of my Alberta nomination certificate and my employment contract following guidelines found here:
cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/extend-worker.asp
Additionally, I have not included any labour market opinion after reading this page:
cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-who-permit.asp
where it states that no labour market opinion is needed for "Workers nominated by a province for permanent residence."
Based on my explanation of a need to extend my post-grad work permit in order to accommodate the time needed to process my PR, I wonder if this extension application will be successful?
Any advice would be much appreciated!
Cheers
