Hey guys! I was away from the forum to calm my nerves! Its unfortunate that we seem to be stuck. Life has been on "pause" for a long time now and hopefully we will all hear good news and receive our visas soon!

HI guys good morning, so no updates as usual. It seems like they hav pasted 'In Process' status to our respective ecas with a glue stick.

As far as travel history goes

2002-03 UK (Std visa)
2009 US (1 month) (Visitor)

Guys, theres one more noticable thing - CHC Delhi has not issued any Med requests for d last 15-20 days. It was cmng almost everyday earlier. Seems these guys are bz finalizing the NEW session fast approaching now. So I think once the new session GOES LIVE on July 1st, we will see lots of movement and hopefuly our visas too.

By the time the first files comes to CHC after the new rules come into place will be somewhere in September (being too optimistic). Last year the first files transfered to CHC were early Jan/Late Feb. So i guess nothing of that sort should affect us. Maybe VO busy with student visas

Its just not about the file transfer, theres a lot of clerical work that goes into it and every VO perfoms that with CIO. Not sure if they haven't finalized everything.

The post June 2010 process is first of its kind. Most likely the process will be streamlined. But what i think is that it will be slower than previous process which was of about 10 months. Its almost 10 months since I filed my application last year.

Thats true but again the timeline variations have been plenty. There are people like u and me who have completed 10 mnths in the process and there are people like Vishesh (Grasshopper) who got thr visa in 6 months.
