Dear all,
Many of us are waiting for more than a year while others are waiting for months for final decisions on study permit applications. For those who applied by deadline of 15th May 2021,what can be done in case IRCC does not honour it's deadline of 6th August 2021 for final decisions?

I feel you man. I am stressed too. Idk why I still feel they’ll be honoring their promise because they emailed my university they will! And my university is a government university so can trust their word!!!

Now.. What to do if they really act with dishonor.

Logical thing to do:

1. If you still have your job and life sorted out, and your university allows for it then defer. Do not start without not knowing.
2. If you wanna start....
If you start, keep a close tab on the fee refund deadline in case of refusal (or NO answer till Sep/Oct etc). So do that.
3. If you have previous refusals and hard feelings against the cutest kind of north-americans (Canadians), then you should make a game plan to find better avenues. Now all countries are opening up.

Which brings me to guys who have been tying since last year for Canada and have no success:

Plan B: Non-Canadian, Preferably Non-North American piece of land somewhere.

I have heard Europe is kinda cool. They say, “Oh well, we have visited these peasants for 500 years. Let them visit us now!”

If its your first time and you are a Londoner to core (that is, citizen) then you should not face issues if your course is aligned!

My sister is in a similar situation. She's still evaluating what to do if there's no response by that date. For now, deferring for Jan 2022 is her best option.
