Can anybody help please? We sent our application off last week from the uk and it arrived a few days later. However I just realised that I might have left a blank field on Schedule 3 form. Under Q12 B "work experience" I filled all the fields except "occupation" (details below). Because I was preparing all the forms electronically on my computer, there was not enough space to fill it in and I wanted to write in manually later on and I must have forgotten.

From To Occupation NOC Years of experience Main duties

Can anybody advise us based on your experience, how serious this omission is. Would our application be rejected based on this error? Tere are no gaps in time, we simply forgot to write my job position in the 'occupation' field.

Thanks

IMO, This is not grounds enough for rejection , if you haven't mentioned the designation but have specified the main duties you performed without any gaps.

Worst case scenario, prepare another set and keep it ready. Send it, the same day in case they return it to,you.

But in all honesty we have now called CIC who told us it was impossible to say...depends on the officer and there are so many other factors to consider. I mean the thing is..although we missed a couple of boxes the information missing is in the accompanying documents so they COULD get it from there..i.the question is...will they bother or will they just think "missing information send it back"? Time till tell..

I tend to agree too that it doesn't seem bad enough to be rejected...time will tell..

Time will tell, hope for the best (but prepare for the worst!).

In our case, it turns out our immigration consultant had omitted an entire page from my spouse's forms (military service page). Our visa office simply asked us to resubmit the required form.

Best of you luck in your application!

Thank you for sharing this, very encouraging that you were simply asked to resubmit the required form and not rejected but what a disaster with the immigration consultant omitting an entire page...you pay a lot of money for assistance...you don't expect any errors like that on their behalf...

Well guess what? Our account has been charged and our application processed! ;D :D :P ;) WOOOOOOOOO!

Application is incomplete and expect it back in 2-3 months time
