I did received AOR2 from there and the last request was for my payment then my file was transferred to Trinidad and Tobago on the 1st, Feb 2019. The latter states that I am in my final process and not to contact them about the decision. It also states that they’ll contact me within 2 months which is between February to April 2nd. My file was transferred to Mexico on August 8th, 2018. I wrote Mexico and within a day, they got back to me. I was concerned because I thought my file was supposed to be in Trinidad. But they answered and told me it was in Mexico. I would want to believe that your file would be in Trinidad by now because VFS Global is now TT Visa and the Eastern Caribbean will be processed there. Send an email to Trinidad. Keep it short and sweet. Just asked if your file is in Trinidad or where it might be processed. I’m almost 100% sure that your file would be in Tinidad by now. They are not at 1 Woodrow Place. I think that is the new address. Don’t quote me fully lol. Best of everything to you!
Thank You for your detailed info. It's only 10 days since I got the file transfer letter to Mexico. I'll query to find out where its really going.
Good Luck to you too.

Wonderful, I cant wait for this process to be over, its exhausting, because everything is on hold now until this process is done. So hopefully we get some good news for March
A lot of March applicants has been getting theirs. I am sure you’re pretty close.

Yes I’m did! Then it was transferred back to Trinidad when VFS Global visa office closed on Feb 1st, 2019. I got the request to pay a month and a half ago
Oh okay thats Great! So what is he whole thing with VFS and TT services? Im confused on it. From what i have read on the IRCC website is that thete are some service changes, closures and moves. I still dont understand why some people are still being transferred to Mexico from the eastern carribean if Mexico is no longer handling eastern caribean files?

Thank you! But I am sure that it’s coming back to Trinidad any time soon.
I'm so confused about the whole Mexico thing. You're saying that Mexico wont keep the file instead they'll send it to Trinidad?

Everyone from the Eastern Caribbean eventually comes back to Trinidad. For example if you had to do an interview they either come to you or you go to them. Don’t think they send you to Mexico for that or send someone from there. It all started when Trinidad had to move from the first location because of the flooding and now they’re at their new location in Trinidad. Sometimes I want to believe that some of the officers are not aware that Trinidad is now in operation again. They are not in sync and there are no consistencies with information.

Hello everyone, I am a newbie here, I have a situation and would love to get some feedback.
I applied for a visitor's visa in December online, paid the fee, this is before the the December 31st deadline for no biometrics. Documents were submitted and I got the confirmation that there were received. I got a bit worried in January late when I didn't get any updates, I thought maybe as it was now January, the new biometrics rule they have now implemented, I would have to get done. I asked them via social media, they said as it was submitted before the 31st Dec. it wasn't necessary. I was glad and thought that was that,

I got the first email address from that person there (pspan-immigration@international.gc.ca) which is where I got the first response.
Fast forward to today, I am here still waiting, no updates in the application progress, no new messages since the documents submitted confirmation. Last month I emailed them to query my application, they replied asking for file number etc pertaining to the application. I sent everything they requested, afterwords, nothing yet again. I emailed again the Friday before carnival, nothing. I did the same this week at two different emails that weren't given by the person on social media, still nothing. These people phone lines ALWAYS busy, I tried calling sometimes 12 times a day for the past week, the automated response you do get is telling me to email my query at one of the addresses I used already.

My dilemma is, do I pay for biometrics online and wait for the letter? Or make an appointment online, walk into the VAC find out what to do and pay for it there? I don't want the application to be sent back or rejected.

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some clarification or suggestions regarding application. My husband(who currently resides in Trinidad) recieved an email request for an updated Schedule A form and Medical (which has been submitted) but we haven't received any updates since. Our last correspondence with IRCC was on February 15 when they sent an email saying that we were now able to receive free pre-arrival services. Our updated schedule A was sent via courier and was received February 28(confirmed via tracking number).

I'm confused on where I am on this process because there have been no messages indicating whether our background checks or anything has been passed. Our gckey account has no messages regarding where we are in the process.

My timeline is as follows:
Outland sponsorship submitted: July 25 2018
Acknowledgment of receipt: November 15 2018
Approval of sponsorship: November 21 2018
Transfer to Mexico for processing: January 17 2019
Medical and updated schedule A request: February 11,2019
Pre-arrival services availability letter: February 15 2019
Medical completed: February 20 2019
Updated schedule A in Mexico consulate: February 28

Nothing since. Hopefully there is someone who has been experiencing this or may have some knowledge on the process :(

Thanks so much everyone

I'm no expert but from what I've read Pre-Arrival Letter only comes to applicants who have been approved. Your passport should be requested next.
Congrats
