Transferred to Mexico: January 17, 2019
Start of Processing: February 6, 2019
Medical Request: February 11, 2019
Pre-Arrival Services: February 15, 2019
Medical Completed: February 20, 2019
Medical Recieved: March 12, 2019
Decision Made: March 28, 2019
PPR: April 8, 2019
COPR: April 12, 2019
Final Decision updated : April 29, 2019

I'm new to this thread and I just have one question. If your application ( family class sponsorship ) was filed in November 14th 2018, that is before the deadline of the implementation of biometrics ( Devember 31st ) would you they still request biometrics from you now ?

No, the biometrics application is from December 31st, so you will not be required. Has your application been transferred to Mexico?

How come it would be transferred to Mexico and not POS ?

Most applications from Latin America and the Caribbean islands are being processed in Mexico.

my husband is in Barbados and his file was transferred to Mexico as well. I did question it at first, but then I was told by IRCC that they are doing office sharing and it is quite normal

They're sleeping my dear. I was told in Feb that I will be hearing from them within two months and to have this and the third ready. My hands got tired so I put my passport back in its safe place. Just like the others we will have to wait patiently.Even my lawyer is quite surprised that everything was processed so fast for me and once it got to POS, they all went to have a long siesta. sigh!!!!!
