am almost 1year in my filing, I just wanna hear something you know, a request doc or something, it's killing me not in the knowing

You could send them a email to ask what queue is your file is in...they respond back really fast

Impatientgirl...sadly you need to be patient bc there are many others who have not heard anything and their files have been longer than a year, but do not lose faith since there have been some who have heard before the year mark. Hang in there!

Is it a good idea to email them? From what I have been reading online and from the website, contacting them slows down the process. Let me know if this is true or false.

Who knows. Sometimes they reply and sometimes not. In your case don't bother cuz ur almost done by the sounds of it.

Ziggy - my ECAS online still does not show that my medicals were received so not sure how accurate their "updating" is.

App. Filed:: 8/12/2014- File return as they updated 2 forms as of August 1st which we did not know as we download all the forms end of July.

File Transfer...: 9/9/2014- POS send email Nov 3rd, confirming they received our file.

Hello everyone .So I have a bit of news.We received an email from my lawyer yesterday from pos asking to send in my passport along with passport photos!!!My husband and I are soo excited seeing as we didn't expect that for a couple of months..What does this mean??We just sent in my medical in September and the arc we sent out just last month..I'm looking on here and I'm seeing that all the people who's had good outcomes all had to wait a couple months before they got the passport request?Lol my hub thinks I'm paranoid and I'm overthinking things again,can't help it I'm a worry bee.

We are in the same boat, I did my medical and still awaiting an update on the website, maybe they don't update it until they get to your file i am guessing. Saw that someone sent in their information in September and got a response yesterday, so hopefully they are getting to the end of September into October soon.

HEY one love i email pos at 4 yesterday and got a reply this morning at 8 this morning so they reply really fast, but make sure you send it to the enquiry email or else they wont respond to you, as for me the email i used wasnt the same as the one on my file, so they told me that they cannot give out info to this email.
