thx a lot for your reply A make since now , I'll give its till the end of this month to try again , my case is a bit different , i share my story while back but yeah , our file sort of kink off got sent pack to POS for re-process after we won the appeal , and not to long ago I found out the the resend the file via diplomatic courier ( whatever that is ) and a has to go through the board service and stuff and that can cause delay . I'm hoping a praying it's there already but yet again I have to yet till POS contact us .
since the application was denied the closed the file , so I have to wait till VO get it and probably I'll be able to check the ecas .

have u tried calling cic Mississauga to see if they can tell u just where your file is at? Congrats on winning the appeal it gives others hope to see this is possible!!!!

C&T - thanks girl! I'm not convinced... i think maybe they just dumped our file in the recycling after the interview. I keep hurting myself (winter has been rough on me this year one broken arm and a sprained knee... this morning i just re-sprained it). When I'm hurt, it makes hubby crazy that he can't spoil me and take care of me which is really stressful because not only am I then in physical pain but also in the worst kind of pain... the emotional pain. I'm just so happy for everyone that is seeing the fruits of POS' labor and simultaneously wondering whose cornflakes we peed in to make them ignore us. oh well... such is life.

Do you all think it would be beneficial to inquire as to the status... they told us a month from the interview date... it has now been a couple of weeks past that but I don't want to anger them into making a decsion either...

Hang in there the good thing is you haven't heard anything about a denial it's still positive but I know the wait is a killer. Sorry to hear you have had not so good of a winter. Take good care of yourself get yourself healed up hubby will soon be by your side to look after you for many years to come. I would send a case specific email to POS asking them for an update it wouldn't hurt. Follow your heart darling hope news is on it's way.

Your welcome were here for you till hubby gets landed. Hubby is freezing after being away from it for 15 months but adjusting just fine thank you for asking. He's so busy working 2 jobs and me working. Yes we're in Toronto and yourself? Everything is coming together slowly

Hello POS!!!

Sorry been MIA. Thanks to all those who messaged me and inquired about my well being!

I am trying to catch up to everything as I finally have some time on my hands to breathe. Life has gotten hectic since hubby landed and with a very very active 11 month old. Hubby is working full time and got his G license and is driving around like he was born here lol. 2 months later I still cannot believe he is here.

Congrats to all those who has landed and to all those who are waiting...Keep the Faith! Life soon sort out

Right.......my husband and I were just talking about Carnival!!! He is from Trinidad so this is his first year ever not being home during Carnival time and yes it is this coming Monday and Tuesday......He used to attend when he was younger but as a tour guide and taxi driver, this was usually his busy work season with all of the tourists. Now he has me to thank for being in Toronto for one of the coldest snowiest winters on record!! I tell him "you're welcome darling" ;D....lol

Try to have a good weekend or at least a weekend without injuries blessings to you and the hubs.

MY UPDATE: My lawyer said our application was mailed out yesterday! My situation keeps me on my toes. My lawyer decides to request Los Angeles as our Visa Office. I don't know if i belong on this thread at the moment but if you don't mind adding me, please feel free to. I guess if LA decides not to process it then it may be transferred to POS.

And the waiting begins........ :

No matter what, you will have to keep us posted on your journey, you can be on as many threads as you want. Obviously if you are going through another Visa office you want to get up to speed on the timelines and "quirks" of the VO that is doing the processing. I think you are probably now well acquainted with the POS quirks!! Blessings.

Thank you Cdnandtrini. Believe me when I say I question the LA vo. With this forum, the research and reading of the manual, we were concerned abt processing in the US. However, she explained to us why she choose that office and given my situation and how I came etc, she is trying for my application to be process in the US. Worse case If CIC -M sends its to LA and they decide its not there case then it will get sent to POS. we will lose a few months processing time but like I said, I'm still in my toes with this process at EVERY level. It took forever to get the application out the door and now I don't even know which office for sure will process it. Everything is unsure for me! I guess we will have to wait until we hear back from them and get approve to sponsor, then CSQ from Quebec, file number gor E-cas, then see where is out final distination for processing etc.
